Fear Of The Unknown.

I happen to be more of a pessimist. Always convinced that we are spiralling downward no matter what we do. And sometimes it seriously does seem that way.
Finances are always an issue, health problems leave us buried in a world of unknowns, how am I going to get everything done, are my kids going to hate me when they are older.
I know I didn't even come close to touching all of the unknowns that we face on a daily basis. For some of us, everything is an unknown and the fear that accompanies the unknown is overwhelming. For others, you go on being positive and really seem to not even care about the unknown.
We all have those times tho. It goes with being human and I am sure God understands that as he talks a lot about the importance of trusting Him for the future in His word.

I just want to take a few minutes and point out some of those verses. Most of which we know well, but a little reminder never hurts anyone.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Psalm 56:3
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Isaiah 26:3-4
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength...

Psalm 37:5
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

There are so many more verses that I could list. But, for now I am going to leave it here. And I dare you to do a bible study on the word "trust". You will come out so much stronger if you put it all to use.

Letter to my husband.

Thank you my dear husband for being the hard working man that you are.
Thank you for waking up way before dawn to go to work to support our family.
Thank you for being there to talk me through every up and down that we have faced.
Thank you for not judging me when I confess to you thoughts that I have done or sins that I have  committed through the day.
Thank you for being the most forgiving man I have ever known.
Thank you for letting me spoil you. (You deserve it and so much more)
Thank you for being my rock through all of Leah's surgeries and health problems.
Thank you for taking time off work to help me with my own health problems.
Thank you for leading our family closer to God.
Thank you for being sensitive to the will of God.
Thank you for watching the kiddos for me so that I can have an evening away.
Thank you for coming home every night and opening up to me about how your day was.
Thank you for saving yourself completely for me.
Thank you for loving me.
Thank you for being the awesome father that you are to our children.
Thank you for everything that you do.
It does not go unnoticed. And although I don't say it near enough. I love you dearly.
