Successful Laundry Soap!

Ok, I'm so excited! The laundry soap smells delicious.  And it was super simple to make. My little man even enjoyed making it. But I did improvise the recipe.

2 cups super washing soda

2 cups borax

1 cup baking soda

2 bars olay bar soap.

10 oz downy unstoppables.

Homemade Laundry Soap.

I have been getting laundry soap free with couponing. But, I am going to be switching to making my own.
I found this recipe online. And it looks pretty close to what my mother in law uses. And her laundry always smells awesome. I think it smells even better than the average store bought laundry soap.
I am going to be making this tonight or tomorrow. I will update with my opinion of it.

2 Bars of Fels-naptha. (or any bar soap.)

2 Cups Borax

2 Cups Washing Soda

1-1/2 cups of  downy unstoppables, gain scent crystals or purex scent crystals.

Shred the Fels-naptha.  Mix everything all together in a plastic container. Only use 2 Tbs per load.

I am probably going to try out some Essential Oils too.
